Russian troops launched a drone attack on Chernihiv region

On the night of October 4, Russian troops carried out another drone attack on Chernihiv region, damaging several electricity supply facilities and causing power outages for about 50 thousand consumers. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referring to 'Chernihivoblenergo' and the State Emergency Service of Chernihiv region.

Representatives of 'Chernihivoblenergo' indicate that the Russians damaged several electricity supply facilities, leading to emergency outages. Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service are working at the strike site to eliminate the consequences of the incident. Energy workers have begun to restore the damaged networks.

Hourly outages and a call to save electricity

Despite yesterday's damage, a schedule of hourly electricity supply outages continues to operate in the region according to the 'three hours on, three hours off' scheme. 'Chernihivoblenergo' urged residents of the region to save electricity to help the system recover.

The situation is under control of the relevant services. Energy workers state that they are doing everything possible to avoid additional outages.

It should be noted that earlier that night, the Russian occupying army also attacked Chernihiv, damaging some critical infrastructure facilities.

Following the drone attack by Russian troops on Chernihiv region and the damage to electricity supply facilities, hourly electricity outages have been introduced in the region, and residents are urged to save electricity. Special services are already dealing with the consequences of the incident and are doing everything to avoid similar situations in the future.
