Russians attacked a factory in Mukachevo: there are casualties and a large fire

Attack on Mukachevo


On the night of August 21, Mukachevo was subjected to an attack by enemy cruise missiles. The target was a civilian enterprise that provided jobs for thousands of local residents from nearby areas. This was reported by the city's mayor, Andriy Baloga, as cited by 'Hlavcom'.


According to the mayor, a large fire broke out as a result of the strike, but fortunately, human casualties were avoided. The injured are receiving necessary assistance, and the authorities expressed gratitude to rescuers and medics for the support and help provided.



«Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but as a result of the strike, a large fire occurred and there are casualties who are receiving all the necessary assistance. Thank you to the rescuers, medics, and everyone who is helping the city and people overcome the consequences of Russian terror», – the message states.


Preliminarily, journalist Vitaliy Hlahola reported that Russian forces attacked the Flex factory, which specializes in electronics manufacturing.

We remind you that on the same night, the Russian occupation army carried out a series of attacks on Western Ukraine, particularly in Transcarpathia.


In Mukachevo, as a result of the missile attack, there was a fire and several injuries. The city council urges citizens to stay safe and follow instructions.


In addition, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia, causing damage to industrial facilities and residential buildings. Strikes were also reported in Lviv, where there are also injuries and destruction.


In Lutsk, there were no casualties after the attack, but the events in other cities are alarming.



As a result of the series of attacks on Western Ukraine, several cities suffered from the Russian offensive, causing injuries and destruction, but fatalities were avoided.
