Russian Drone Strike Hits Five-Story Building and Cars in Pavlohrad

Удар дронів завдав шкоди багатоповерхівці та автівкам у Павлограді.

Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Region

On the night of June 4, Russia launched a drone attack on Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the strike set a five-story residential building and several cars on fire. Authorities are still working to confirm details about potential casualties. Local Telegram channels report that residents are evacuating from the building that was hit by a Russian Shahed drone.

Additionally, on June 3, the Russian military struck a warehouse belonging to the ATB supermarket chain in Dnipro. The attack sparked a fire that has since been extinguished, but it damaged multiple cargo trucks.

“One of the rockets fired during the shelling of Dnipro hit our warehouse. A fire broke out and has now been put out, and several company trucks were damaged. Fortunately, none of the employees were hurt,” said Serhiy Demchenko.

Subsequent Strikes and Consequences

Oleksandr Ganzha also reported that the enemy carried out a second strike on the Dnipro district, leaving six people in need of medical care. Five of them were hospitalized, with three in serious condition. Meanwhile, a separate attack on Dnipro on the night of June 2 resulted in 16 deaths, including two children, and left over 40 people injured. Currently, 22 victims remain hospitalized.

These incidents highlight the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine, particularly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which has repeatedly been targeted. Reports indicate that strikes on civilian infrastructure, such as residential buildings and commercial warehouses, are causing significant loss of life and destruction, with severe repercussions for local residents and the regional economy.

  • The extent of casualties and damage is still being assessed.
  • These events call for urgent humanitarian and medical support for those affected.
