Emergency power outages in 13 regions: the reason named and where they have already been canceled

In several regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv and others, emergency power outages have been introduced due to the consequences of Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure. This information was disseminated by 'Ukrenergo' based on data from 'Glavkom'.


In Chernihiv Oblast, scheduled power outages have also been established as a result of attacks on the enemy's energy system over the past weeks. Work is being carried out to restore energy supply in the region.

DTEK reported the cancellation of emergency power outages in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.


It should be noted that on Friday, October 17, it is planned to apply electricity supply limitation schedules for industry across Ukraine from 07:00 to 22:00.



Updating data as of October 10, it is worth mentioning the Russian attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure using drones and missiles. President Zelensky reported on more than 450 drones and several dozen missiles used in the attack.


According to the data, Ukraine was previously attacked on the night of October 14. One of the main targets was energy. This has led to the possibility of importing electricity this winter due to constant enemy strikes on the country's energy infrastructure.


The head of 'Ukrenergo' emphasized that emergency power outages in Ukraine may continue for a week.
