British military satellites are constantly subjected to jamming attempts by Russia, which is trying to gather confidential information. This was reported by the head of the UK Space Command, Major General Paul Tedman, in an interview with the BBC.

According to General Tedman, 'Russian satellites have been tracking British military satellites.' 'Russia also attempts to jam the military satellites of the United Kingdom weekly using ground systems,' he added.

The General explained that Russian satellites are trying to gather confidential information from British satellites using payloads that can observe their rivals in orbit.

Russia and China Have Tested Anti-Satellite Weapons

It should be noted that General Tedman emphasized that Russia and China have tested anti-satellite weapons, and there is a threat of nuclear weapons being deployed in space. He noted that British satellites are equipped with technologies to counteract jamming signals, but Russian attempts to interfere continue.

According to Major General Tedman, Russia is actively monitoring British military satellites, trying to obtain confidential information. This situation reflects the growing tensions in space between countries. And although British satellites have technologies to protect against jamming signals, the threat continues to exist.
