Rescue of a 90-Year-Old Woman in Dobropillya

Soldiers from the 4th Battalion of the 15th Brigade 'Kara-Dag,' part of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine's 'Azov' unit, pulled 90-year-old Lidiya Hryhorivna from the debris after a Russian bomb struck her home in Dobropillya. Despite ongoing shelling, she had remained in her house and sheltered in the basement during attacks.

The bombing damaged her home, burying the basement where she was hiding under rubble. Hearing her cries for help, the soldiers immediately launched a rescue operation. They dug her out, provided first aid, and evacuated her to safety using an armored vehicle. Lidiya Hryhorivna is now under medical care.

Ukrainian Soldiers' Heroism
