Attack on the Kamaliya Business Center
The business center of Ukrainian singer Kamaliya was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of June 2. This is the third attack on the building in the last 16 days. During the shelling, equipment for power supply and air conditioning was damaged. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
On the night of June 2, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, with Kyiv being the primary target. Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Poltava region, and other areas were also attacked.
“Our business center was again hit by a Russian missile last night – for the third time in 16 days. Fortunately, this time there were also no human casualties,” Kamaliya noted in her post.
The artist also shared details of the shelling and showed the aftermath in photographs. The images reveal the ruined building, broken windows, and damaged facade. “Last time, our chillers for the air conditioning system and transformer substation survived. This time, we were less fortunate. The first task now is to start the transformer. But given the severity of the damage and the workload of the energy supply company, this will not be easy – even if we manage to find all the necessary spare parts,” the singer added.
Kamaliya also expressed disappointment that 'all the cleaning and repair work done in the last 16 days has gone to waste. We are starting all over again – but for this we need electricity.' Currently, the singer and her team are working on restoring the business center after the latest shelling.
