Vasyl Kobryn died defending Ukraine on October 16, 2025. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing the Lviv City Council.
Vasyl Kobryn was born on February 20, 1998, in Lviv. He studied at secondary school No. 90 in Lviv. He obtained a degree in automotive mechanics at the Automotive Road Technical College of the National University 'Lviv Polytechnic', and later – an economist at the National Forestry University of Ukraine. He also graduated from music school in the trumpet class.
He worked in various fields, including as an automotive mechanic. Together with a friend, he opened his own establishment Paradise food, where he expressed his love for delicious food and communication with people.
In 2024, Kobryn joined the 68th separate rifle brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the homeland from enemies. His heroism and patriotism were recognized with awards: he received the 'Golden Cross' from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 'For Injury' distinction from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the 'War Veteran' medal.
