Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war every day at 9 AM. Today we remember Ruslan Shevchenko.
The defender was killed on June 11, 2024, while defending Ukraine's territorial integrity in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by

Ruslan Shevchenko was born on May 20, 1998, in the village of Zarudtsy in the Lviv region. He studied at the gymnasium of the Lviv City Council in his village and later studied the specialty of 'Cook, Bartender, Waiter' at the Lviv Professional College of Restaurant Business.
After his studies, he served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and worked as a sales consultant at 'Epicenter K'. It is known that he was a sensitive, kind son, a caring brother, and a reliable friend.
Farewell to the Hero
In 2022, he joined the service in the 2nd Separate Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction.
Farewell to the warrior took place on July 13 in his native village of Zarudtsy. Ruslan was buried in the local cemetery.
He was survived by his mother, father, and sister.
