The Death of Dmytro Rossokha: The Hero Was Buried Four Months After the Battle

Ukrainians honor the memory of all who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war every day at 9 AM. Today we remember Dmytro Rossokha.



Dmytro Rossokha, a 35-year-old soldier, died during a battle on the Dnipropetrovsk front on June 9, 2025. His relatives and comrades were only able to bury him on September 30. This information was reported by

Dmytro was born on November 8, 1989, in Rivne, attended local school No. 23, and graduated from the Rivne Technical College.



A True Patriot


For over 15 years, he worked in car repair and painting, loved his job, and made every effort to ensure that each car was perfect.



In March 2022, at the beginning of the war, Dmytro decided to voluntarily join the army. By March 13, he was on the front lines, serving continuously for three years, always emphasizing that he was doing this for his family and Ukraine.



Dmytro Rossokha died in battle for his homeland on the Dnipropetrovsk front on June 9, 2025.



After a solemn service at the St. Nicholas Women's Monastery, he was buried on September 30, 2025, at the Heroes' Alley of the «Nove» cemetery in Rivne.
