It seems that Russia has again developed ambitious plans. This time, Moscow has decided to postpone its attempts to seize European countries until 2027. According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, the Baltic countries appear to be the target of Russian expansion. Poland may become an object of strikes, without occupation.

Although Russia wants to expand its influence, the directions to the north and east are occupied by other major players, making Western Europe seem like the most accessible target for Russian aggression. However, sentiment within Europe itself is not so optimistic – according to studies, more than half of respondents believe that Russia could start a conflict with their country in the near future.

Despite this, President Putin has promised that Russia does not intend to start a war but will be ready if Europe moves.

This sounds a bit terrifying, but it is perhaps better to be informed and prepared than to be in shock when the situation spirals out of control. While this may not be the happiest news, it is good to know what can happen in the context of international relations.
