The governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, reported that the air defense system successfully repelled a drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the region. This led to a fire at the Balashovskaya substation.
The firefighting forces quickly extinguished the flames, but the neighboring Russian city of Saratov also suffered from the drone attack - the oil refinery was damaged, and the local airport halted operations.
