During the night of September 7, a cruise missile 9M727 of the Iskander operational-tactical complex hit the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as a result of a large-scale combined attack by the Russian Federation. According to information from Defense Express, the fire that broke out in the building was caused by the ignition of fuel from the missile's tanks.

According to the Air Force Command, during the attack, the enemy launched 9 cruise missiles from the Iskander OTRK, and only 4 of them were shot down. Additionally, 810 drones of various types were launched, of which 747 were destroyed, as well as 4 ballistic missiles that remained intact.
