A batch of modern medical equipment from Czechia has been delivered to Dnipropetrovsk for a hospital specializing in cancer treatment. The total value of the aid is UAH 19.5 million. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Who received the medical equipment from Czechia in Dnipropetrovsk
Several units of the medical institution received the new equipment — oncology, oncogynecology, and day surgery rooms. Thanks to this, doctors will be able to expand the range of diagnostics and improve the quality of surgeries.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak reported that before implementing the project, the Czech side thoroughly studied the needs of the hospital.
«Partners visited the region, spoke with medical staff, and then we held additional negotiations during the Global Healthcare Initiative for Ukraine 2025 conference in Prague. Only after that did we receive confirmation of funding. Today we see a concrete result», — he noted.
According to him, such support became possible due to the joint efforts of the Czech government, the Embassy of Czechia in Ukraine, donors, and medical technology manufacturers.
