Russian occupiers hit Odesa
On the night of December 19, Russian occupiers struck Odesa, directing strikes at the city's important infrastructure. This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Odesa City Military Administration of the Odesa District of Odesa Region, informs 'Glavkom'.
As a result of shelling and powerful strikes in the area with the highest population concentration, there were problems with utility services. Electricity supply, water supply, and heating were stopped in some parts of the city, residential buildings were damaged.
A woman who was injured in the shelling is in the hospital with moderate injuries.
Currently, work is underway to restore the damaged networks by utility services and specialists. A survey of buildings is also being conducted to assess the damages and compile lists of people in need of assistance.
Attacks in recent days
On the night of December 13, Russian terrorists also launched a missile strike on Odesa, leading to power outages and electricity being cut off in some parts of the city.
Additionally, on the night of December 12, the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Odesa for the second time with drones, causing fires and damage to energy and civilian facilities.
As a result of the attacks by Russian occupiers on Odesa due to missile strikes, damage to the city's infrastructure, interruptions in utility services, and injuries to citizens requiring treatment were recorded. Utility services and specialists are carrying out restoration work and providing assistance to the victims.
