Czech initiative raised 12.5 million crowns in 48 hours: the Flamingo rocket is already being prepared for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Czech initiative 'Gift for Putin' successfully raised 12.5 million crowns for the production of the Ukrainian 'Flamingo' rocket for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The fundraising ended in less than 48 hours. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing the initiative's posting.



The initiative amazed with its results, raising the required amount in such a short period of time. Organizer Martin Ondracek noted that he intends to hold new negotiations with the rocket manufacturer, Fire Point, to possibly open a collection for another rocket. It was also announced that after payment, the rocket will be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will determine its target and time of use.



The start of the fundraising for the production of the 'Flamingo' rocket was announced on October 21. The name for the rocket is Dana 1, in honor of Czech scientist Dana Drabova, who was a supporter of Ukraine and reported on the state of nuclear safety in the occupied territories of Ukraine.


Effectiveness of the 'Flamingo' rocket


The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already used 'Flamingo' cruise missiles to strike the FSB base in occupied Crimea. The FP-5 'Flamingo' missiles have great striking power and long flight range, making them effective for strikes on energy facilities in Russia.



The Czech initiative 'Gift for Putin' proved successful, raising the necessary amount for the production of the 'Flamingo' rocket for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in less than two days. Important is also the information about the use of these missiles by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for strikes on facilities in Crimea, which underscores their great striking power and effectiveness.
