Ukrainian athlete Danilo Chinyakov became the absolute European champion in weightlifting among juniors in the 110 kg weight category. This news was reported by 'Glavkom' based on information from the Base of Ukrainian Sports.
Chinyakov lifted 171 kg in the snatch and 203 kg in the clean and jerk. In the total weightlifting event, he showed a result of 374 kg, which earned him a gold medal and the title of absolute European champion. Notably, new European records among youths were also set in the snatch and total.
In addition to Danilo Chinyakov, his compatriot Andriy Borovskyi also excelled, becoming a bronze medalist in the clean and jerk. He lifted 199 kg and secured a medal. In the snatch, he placed 7th, and in the total, he finished 5th.
