In Ukraine, a significant rise in fuel prices has been recorded against the backdrop of increased demand during blackouts. On Monday, January 19, the average price of gasoline and diesel increased by almost 60 kopecks per liter compared to the previous working day. The Ministry of Finance reports.
According to data from the Minfin portal, the average price of A-95 gasoline rose by 58 kopecks and reached 59.07 UAH per liter. Diesel fuel became more expensive by 57 kopecks – up to 58.87 UAH per liter. The largest increase was recorded for A-92 gasoline, which added 76 kopecks.
Fuel prices in Ukraine: average indicators as of January 19
As of January 19, the average retail prices at Ukrainian gas stations are:
premium A-95 gasoline – 63.87 UAH/l;
A-95 gasoline – 59.07 UAH/l;
A-92 gasoline – 57.41 UAH/l;
diesel fuel – 58.87 UAH/l;
autogas – 38.19 UAH/l.
Compared to January 16, autogas increased slightly – by 4 kopecks per liter.
Fuel prices at the largest gas station networks
Prices vary among different gas station networks. In particular:
at AT 'Ukrnafta', A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel cost 59.99 UAH/l, autogas – 38.44 UAH/l;
in the U.GO network of the Naftogaz group, A-95 and diesel are sold for 57.9 UAH/l, autogas – 36.4 UAH/l;
at OKKO and WOG, the price for A-95 gasoline and diesel is 62.99 UAH/l, autogas – about 40 UAH/l;
at BRSM-Nafta, A-95 gasoline costs 56.19 UAH/l, diesel – 54.56 UAH/l, autogas – 36.1 UAH/l;
in the BVS network, A-95 and diesel are sold for 60.99 UAH/l, autogas – 36.99 UAH/l.
Previously, on January 16, the price increase was insignificant, but the heightened demand during power outages has significantly affected the fuel market.
