Social workers will receive iPhones

Social workers will be provided with iPhones







Employees of regional social services will be provided with iPhones, as announced by the Minister of Social Policy Lyudmila Denisova during a press conference in Kyiv.


According to her, the department made a corresponding request to the UN due to numerous complaints about bureaucratic delays in processing displaced persons and the lack of prompt assistance from the social service.


Next Monday, the number of required iPhones will be determined, and the application will be sent to the UN.


As of October 2, more than 244,227 displaced persons have approached social protection authorities. 230,447 from eastern Ukraine, 13,780 from Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.


A total of 399,000 displaced persons are registered. 50% are of working age, 31% are children, and 19% are pensioners. 381,000 are from Donbas and 18,000 are Crimeans.
