Men aged 18-22 are massing to go to Poland: data from the border service

The Polish border service noted a noticeable increase in the number of young Ukrainians aged 18-22 entering the country after the Ukrainian government eased border crossing rules. According to RMF24, as a result of the changes in the rules, men in this age group were able to leave the country, which was previously restricted due to martial law in Ukraine.


During several days, from August 28 to September 3, border guards recorded a significant number of entries and exits through the Subcarpathian and Lublin checkpoints. According to data, 6100 young Ukrainians arrived in Poland, while about 2000 left. At the same time, the previous week, around 500 young Ukrainians entered Poland, and over 650 left.





The number of young Ukrainians entering Poland has noticeably increased after the easing of border crossing rules by the Ukrainian government. According to operational data, during several days, a significant number of young people from Ukraine chose border checkpoints for exiting and entering Poland, indicating the activity of the younger generation in the context of cross-border movements.
