Ukraine, Danilov emphasized, fully understands all the challenges and is preparing for them. At the same time, the assistance of international partners is more than necessary. Fortunately, many countries have changed their attitude towards providing weapons to Ukraine, for which Ukraine is immensely grateful.
'And if earlier, so to speak, helmets were supplied, and someone - bulletproof vests, today they are supplying heavy weapons that we desperately need to defeat this enemy. But we are aware that we are not only defending ourselves. We are defending all of Europe from this invasion,' Danilov reminded.
On December 21, President of the United States Joseph Biden signed a memorandum to allocate up to $1 billion. The funds will go for providing weapons and defense services to Ukraine and for training Ukrainian military personnel.
On the same day, President of France Emmanuel Macron stated that France supplied Ukraine with missile systems and weapons, and at the beginning of next year will send even more. In particular, he announced the transfer of the previously announced Crotale air defense systems to Ukraine.
