The State Service for Children of Ukraine has sent documents for the payment of a one-time financial aid of 50 thousand hryvnias for 65 children who returned from temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the head of the agency, Petro Dobromilskyi.
Behind this figure are 65 different stories of struggle, return, and recovery. We are doing everything possible so that every child who has experienced occupation feels the care of the state and has support for a new start in a safe environment, emphasized Dobromilskyi.
The efforts of the state are not limited to just bringing children home, but also aim to create conditions for their adaptation and development in a safe environment. In total, 8 children will receive assistance due to the absence of parental care, and one child orphan. The total amount of payments will be 3.25 million hryvnias.
Support program for affected children
The one-time assistance that children and their families will receive is intended for adaptation after returning from occupied territories. This support is part of the state program to assist children affected by Russian aggression and the temporary occupation of part of Ukrainian territories.
During the assistance program for children returning from temporarily occupied territories, the State Service for Children has established aid in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnias for each of the 65 children. The main goal of the program is to provide support and conditions for the adaptation of these children in their new life in a safe environment.
