The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that it has not recorded mass deportations of Ukrainians from the United States. The service spokesperson, Andriy Demchenko, explained that he cannot provide specific statistics regarding the number of citizens who have been deported and returned from other countries due to violations of legislation.
I cannot state any statistics on how many of our citizens have been deported and returned from other countries by immigration authorities due to violations
It was also noted that other countries may deport foreigners for violations of immigration legislation as well as for other offenses, and may also repatriate migrants to their countries of origin.
Previously, the Trump administration announced plans to deport Ukrainian citizens. The government also developed plans to fund the evacuation and return of people from active conflict zones, including Ukrainians and Haitian migrants who fled to the country. Additionally, the situation of Ukrainian refugees who intend to live under temporary protection in the USA was considered.
The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service denies information about mass deportations of Ukrainians from the USA and emphasizes the inability to provide precise statistics regarding such cases.
