Ukraine's Diia Portal Now Allows Reservations for Employees with Military Registration Issues

Нова функція порталу Дія спростила процес бронювання для працівників із питаннями військового обліку.

New Service on the Diia Portal

A new service has been activated on Ukraine's Diia government portal, enabling the reservation of employees for defense and militarily critical enterprises. This measure is designed to support companies vital to the nation's defense effort, allowing those on the Unified List of Defense Industry Complex Enterprises or deemed critical for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reserve workers even if they have discrepancies in their military registration records. This temporary reservation is granted for up to 45 calendar days, providing employees a window to rectify their registration status.

This online service, accessible via the Diia portal with a qualified electronic signature, streamlines a critical wartime administrative process. Applicants must select the 'Employees with military registration violations' category when submitting a request, and the application's review status will be visible in the applicant's personal account for easy monitoring.

Legal Framework for Reservations

The law governing this reservation system came into force on December 4, 2025. It permits the hiring of individuals with military registration issues, stipulating that the reservation cannot exceed 45 days—aligning with a standard probationary period. If the violations are resolved within this timeframe, the reservation can be extended on general terms; failure to do so may result in dismissal. In a related measure for frontline communities, the government has implemented a 100% reservation rate for workers.

This initiative aims to bolster enterprises performing crucial defense functions during wartime, helping to maintain operational stability amid frontline uncertainties. By leveraging digital services for applications, the process is simplified and the transparency of management decisions in this sensitive area is enhanced.
