The application 'Diia' has temporarily suspended services related to vehicles. Ukrainians will not be able to obtain a new vehicle registration certificate or re-register their vehicles. This was reported by Ukrainsky Komersant citing the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Reason for the suspension of services for drivers through 'Diia'
The pause was caused by a change in tariffs for documents, requiring the Ministry of Internal Affairs to update their technical system. 'Diia' emphasized that this is a temporary process, and in just a few days, the services will again operate in standard mode.
'Services will be operational in a few days, and drivers will be able to receive them with just a few clicks. As soon as we get the 'green light', we will definitely inform you', the team of 'Diia' stated.
Most popular services for drivers in 'Diia'
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, vehicle functions in 'Diia' are among the most popular among users. Every year, Ukrainians perform more than 13.3 million online operations, including:
-
updating vehicle registration certificate;
-
re-registration of vehicles.
Thanks to digital services, the state and citizens are saving over 4.5 billion UAH annually. The full transition of vehicle administrative procedures online, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, will save over 10 billion UAH more.
In 'Diia', they emphasize that after the tariff updates and system adaptation, drivers will again be able to use all services without delays, just as before, with a few clicks.
Earlier, we reported that drivers in Ukraine will have the convenient opportunity to save their license plates through the 'Diia' application, without visiting service centers.
