CIA Director William Burns does not take the possibility of negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv seriously, he stated in an interview with PBS, CNN reports. At the same time, Burns predicts a decrease in the pace of hostilities during the winter.
'The CIA does not believe that the Kremlin is serious about negotiations and does not see a direct path to negotiations to end the conflict. We do not believe that the Russians are seriously considering real negotiations right now,' said the director of the American intelligence agency.
