Rallies in support of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office continue in various cities of Ukraine. Despite a new bill aimed at strengthening anti-corruption bodies, opponents of this document once again took to the streets.



People in Kyiv, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Kharkiv, and other cities are participating in peaceful rallies to show their support and protest against corruption, holding relevant placards.



Protests due to the adoption of bill No. 12414


Protests in different cities of Ukraine were held due to the adoption of bill No. 12414 by the Verkhovna Rada. Residents demanded the rejection of this law, which limits the powers of NABU and SAP. Rallies took place in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro, where citizens called for the cancellation of this decision.



Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 12414, which proposes to limit the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.


President Volodymyr Zelensky is preparing a new bill aimed at ensuring the stable operation of the law enforcement system and the independence of anti-corruption bodies from external influences.


The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office responded to this bill aimed at ensuring their independence.



Rallies in support of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office continue in various cities of Ukraine. Participants express their support for anti-corruption bodies and oppose limiting their powers. President Zelensky is preparing a new bill to ensure the independent operation of these bodies, and they have already stated the need to maintain their independence.
