The National Police reports that over 150 simultaneous searches are being conducted by the employees of the State Bureau of Investigations and investigative authorities of the National Police as part of a special operation aimed at stopping the illegal transport of conscription-age men abroad. Groups of organizers and participants who assist in this have been intercepted in attempts to bypass official border crossing points through the communication network 'Shlyakh' and in the production of counterfeit medical documents.
According to available data, the cost of such 'services' reached $25,000. Law enforcement has noted that activities are ongoing in all regions of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Office of the General Prosecutor.
Details of the special operation will be published after all investigative actions are completed. It is also worth noting that border guards of the Chop Detachment stopped 19 conscripted men who were attempting to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border near the village of Pallo in the Uzhhorod district. The incident was recorded using surveillance cameras and drones from the detachment. A man who attempted to cross the border on a parachute in the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district was also arrested.
Ukrainian law enforcement plans to continue fighting illegal channels for the transport of citizens across the border and to take all necessary measures to prevent such violations of the law.
