Court Verdict for Drug Lab Organizers in Kyiv
Two men who set up a clandestine laboratory producing the psychotropic substance PVP have been sentenced to eight years in prison, along with the confiscation of their property. The production of PVP continued until February 2025, when law enforcement shut it down as part of Operation Rubicon. During this operation, authorities documented the sale of over one kilogram of psychotropic drugs within the grounds of Kyiv's VDNKh park in November and December 2025. Seized evidence included plastic containers holding more than 420 grams of PVP, along with 23 kilograms of pyrrolidine, 22 liters of valerophenone, and large quantities of hydrochloric acid.
