The singer Jamala took 1st place in the international competition. With a narrow margin based on the overall voting, Jamala became the winner of 'Eurovision 2016'.
In total, the artist received points: 534 points - from the jury, according to the new rules, and - as a result of the audience voting from participating countries. Thus, Jamala became the second singer to bring victory to Ukraine in 'Eurovision': she debuted in this role in 2004 with the explosive Ruslana and her 'Wild Dances'.
Australia took 2nd place, and Russia took 3rd place.
