Ayia Napa resort has made the list of the most affordable and simultaneously safest destinations for summer vacations in Europe. Against the backdrop of high prices in popular tourist locations in Italy, France, and Greece, this resort offers significantly cheaper accommodation, food, and entertainment.

Why Ayia Napa has become a popular alternative to expensive resorts
Ayia Napa is located in the southeastern part of Cyprus and is known for its sandy beaches and clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The resort is often compared to Caribbean destinations due to its white sand and turquoise coast.
One of the main advantages remains the cost of vacationing. Due to a large number of hotels, charter flights, and a long tourist season, prices here are significantly lower than in Ibiza, Mykonos, or the French Riviera.
During the summer season, a room in a four-star hotel near the popular Nissi Beach can be booked from 220 dollars per night. Five-star resort complexes offer accommodations starting at approximately 250 dollars. For budget travelers, family guesthouses are available with prices ranging from 49 to 63 dollars per day.
What to see and how much a vacation costs
Ayia Napa attracts not only for its beach vacation. Near the resort are the ancient tombs of Makronissos, carved into the rocks, as well as the THALASSA maritime museum, dedicated to the history of shipping in Cyprus.
Among popular natural sites, Cape Greco stands out with its sea caves, viewpoints, and hiking trails along the coast.
In the very center of the city is the medieval monastery of Ayia Napa, which is considered one of the most famous historical landmarks of Cyprus.
Dining at the resort also remains relatively affordable. In local taverns, fish and meat dishes cost from 12 to 25 dollars, while traditional souvlaki can be purchased for about 12 dollars.
Thanks to the combination of low prices, developed tourist infrastructure, a long beach season, and a high level of safety, Ayia Napa is increasingly appearing on lists of the best summer destinations in Europe.
It is worth noting that from February 6 to 8, a 53rd European Karate Championship took place in Limassol, Cyprus, among cadets, juniors, and youth U21.
