Former SAP prosecutor Stanislav Bronevitsky told Hromadske in an interview that the leadership of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, just like the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, is disclosing information about the investigation of criminal cases and future searches to the defendants. There is also a practice in the prosecutor's office of dismissing disobedient employees, nepotism, solving political issues, and closing cases.

One of the most discussed cases is the story of the illegal seizure of Odesa airport, where, as a result of acquiring property worth 2.5 billion hryvnias, the defendants managed to evade punishment through agreements with the leadership of SAP. Bronevitsky noted that one of the conditions was the payment of 3 million dollars. He pointed out that the leadership of SAP was aware of these agreements. This practice of 'leaking' case materials is also widespread in NABU.

Ignoring and contests in the work of SAP

Bronevitsky also noted that the leadership of SAP has repeatedly ignored prosecutors who were not in the circle of 'Klimenko's people'. In addition, the former employee emphasized that contests in SAP are being falsified, leading to unlawful appointments of officials. The former prosecutor noted that during the contests, four individuals close to Mr. Klimenko in NABU were appointed to positions in SAP.

Bronevitsky noted that ten SAP prosecutors participated in the war in February 2022, sustaining injuries from combat actions. However, the leadership does not provide adequate support to these employees. These situations indicate systemic issues in the activities of SAP and NABU.

The leadership of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) has been accused of disclosing information about the investigation of criminal cases and agreements with defendants. The former SAP prosecutor revealed some internal problems, such as 'leaking' materials, ignoring prosecutors, and falsification of contests, indicating the need for reform in the prosecution bodies.
