The situation has worsened, especially in the capital, where large-scale power outages occurred. This has caused dozens of trains to be off schedule, with wait times for passengers on international routes reaching critical levels.

Impact on Transport and Economy

The situation in the energy system requires urgent response, as it significantly affects various areas of life, especially transportation within the country.

The critical condition of Ukraine's energy system is caused by several factors, including accidents at energy facilities and the growing demand for electricity during the autumn and winter period.

This situation jeopardizes not only the functioning of railway transport but also the provision of electricity to residential sectors, medical institutions, and other critically important facilities. The country's authorities must take measures to stabilize the energy situation to avoid further negative consequences for the population and the economy.
