Similarly, during the pandemic, Unilever shifted roughly 8,300 workers without making a single external hire. This approach yielded a 41% productivity boost and a 20% increase in internal collaboration. Companies with strong internal mobility see employees stay 41% longer, underscoring the stabilizing effect of such initiatives.
