Переміщення людей з прифронтових районів: з 1 червня 147 тисяч українців залишили свої домівки.

Evacuation of civilians in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the operation to evacuate civilians from active conflict zones continues, during which about 147 thousand citizens have left their homes since June 1. This process is ongoing against the backdrop of a deterioration in the security situation, forcing people to seek safer regions for living.

Among those evacuated:

  • over 16.5 thousand children;
  • 5 thousand persons with limited mobility.

The largest flow of evacuees has been recorded from:

  • Donetsk region – 92.4 thousand persons;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – over 35 thousand persons;
  • Kharkiv region – 8.3 thousand persons.

These figures indicate serious challenges faced by the population in conflict zones.

Support for evacuees and internally displaced persons

To assist evacuees in Ukraine, there are 21 transit centers providing help to people who have left their homes. For long-term accommodation of internally displaced persons (IDPs), over 80.5 thousand beds have been prepared. Additionally, 15.2 thousand spaces have been created for persons with reduced mobility, which confirms the government's efforts to ensure comfortable conditions for all segments of the population.

As Oleksiy Ryabikin mentioned, 'If the security situation in a community worsens, it is important not to hesitate. All conditions have been created for an organized departure and further support. Evacuation can save your life.'

These words emphasize the importance of responding promptly to threats arising in conflict zones.

The situation in Ukraine remains complex, and the evacuation of the civilian population is a critically important step to protect people's lives. Current data indicates a significant influx of people from dangerous regions, indicating ongoing threats from combat operations. State efforts to provide support and create conditions for internally displaced persons highlight the necessity of ensuring safety and comfort for those forced to leave their homes.
