The Decarbonization Fund issued its first loan for the thermal modernization of an apartment building in Lutsk. The condominium 'Molodi 6' received financial support from the Energy Efficiency Fund for the modernization of residential buildings under the 'Energy House' program.
'This is the first step of real interaction between two state institutions aimed at creating additional financial opportunities for the modernization of apartment buildings. From now on, active citizens who want to make their homes warmer and more energy-efficient can receive even more support from the state. The activity of citizens and the partnership of the state are becoming a real formula for success for sustainable changes in the housing sector' - reported the Energy Efficiency Fund.
The condominium plans to carry out energy modernization of the building, including thermal insulation of the facade and roof, and replacement of external doors. These measures will contribute to savings on utility services and increase living comfort. Domestic materials are planned to be used for the insulation of the building, which will help the development of Ukrainian manufacturers and the national 'green' economy. The total budget of the project is 12.7 million hryvnias, part of the funds will be covered by a loan from the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine on preferential terms.
