Pirelli to Remain Formula 1’s Exclusive Tire Supplier Until 2028 Under Renewed Deal

Formula 1 and the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) have confirmed a contract extension with Pirelli, keeping the Italian tire manufacturer as the sole tire supplier through the end of 2028. Pirelli will continue to provide tires not only for Formula 1 but also for Formula 2, Formula 3, and the F1 Academy series. Since becoming the exclusive tire partner for motorsport’s premier class in 2011, Pirelli has played a key role in the sport’s evolution, and this renewal underscores its lasting impact.

Standings Update and Upcoming Races

Following the Monaco Grand Prix, the driver and constructor standings have taken shape. Mercedes’ Andrea Kimi Antonelli leads the drivers’ championship with 156 points. Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton sits in second place with 90 points, while George Russell of Mercedes holds third with 88 points. In the constructors’ standings, Mercedes tops the chart with 244 points, followed by Scuderia Ferrari with 165 points and McLaren with 118 points.
