As of the morning of May 5, 2026, Ukraine’s General Staff of the Armed Forces has published new figures on Russian military losses. This marks day 1,532 of the full-scale war in Ukraine, a conflict that has now stretched beyond four years.

Breakdown of Losses

According to the latest data, total Russian personnel losses have reached approximately 1,336,120, an increase of 970 from the previous count. Equipment losses have also shifted, with notable changes including:

  • Tanks: 11,917 (up by 3 units)
  • Armored fighting vehicles: 24,510 (up by 3 units)
  • Artillery systems: 41,386 (up by 80 units)
  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,770 (up by 3 units)
  • Air defense systems: 1,361 (up by 4 units)
  • Unmanned ground vehicles: 1,320 (up by 3 units)
  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones): 274,030 (a record increase of 1,968 units)
  • Trucks and fuel tankers: 94,030 (up by 206 units)

No changes were reported in categories such as aircraft, helicopters, or submarines.
