Warning from Yasno's CEO About a Challenging Autumn and Winter
The CEO of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko, warns Ukrainians of potential problems in the energy system during autumn and winter. He emphasizes the importance of being prepared for various scenarios and not letting their guard down.
'Autumn is a somewhat anxious period for energy workers. What awaits us this autumn, in a challenging situation, nobody knows as always. The recent shelling does not add optimism. We have analyzed all attacks on energy infrastructure and drawn conclusions. Energy workers have gained experience and know how to act better in case of attacks. Therefore, it is necessary to remain vigilant. I recommend the population and businesses to be prepared for any scenarios', he emphasized.
The CEO of Yasno also advises the population to stock up on essential items in case of possible power outages. Among the recommendations are:
- purchase power banks, flashlights, or check their availability and functionality;
- develop an action plan in case of a prolonged power outage;
- charge all devices and power banks in advance;
- maintain necessary food and water supplies.
Preparing Business for Possible Difficulties
Kovalenko urges businesses to conduct a technical inspection, check generators, and backup power systems for use in case of a power outage. If necessary, experts @YASN0 are ready to provide consultations.
'Do not panic. We hope that we won’t need this this autumn, but it’s better to prepare in advance and not use it than to be unprepared and lose your head. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are grateful to law enforcement, and help everyone in need', Kovalenko added.
The warning from Yasno's CEO about potential issues in the energy system requires both the population and businesses to be ready for various scenarios and to stockpile necessary materials in case of power outages. This will help mitigate the negative impact of events that may arise in the future.
