Final details regarding the timing, duration, and specific groups or subgroups involved will be announced later on the official channels of JSC Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, following instructions from NPC Ukrenergo.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, hourly power cuts will also be imposed on household consumers. Due to the temperature spike, Ukraine's energy system will operate under extreme strain in the coming days, making these steps necessary.
Serhiy Kovalenko, a representative of the energy sector, stated: 'People should be prepared for various scenarios. A power bank, charged devices, and paying close attention to energy officials' updates will definitely come in handy.'
