Heavy rainfall is predicted in the southern, central, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, where hail and gusts reaching 15–20 m/s are possible. Meanwhile, the southeastern part of the country is not expected to see significant precipitation overnight. Winds will primarily blow from the southwest, shifting to the west at 7–12 m/s. In western and northern regions, daytime gusts could intensify to 15–20 m/s.

Overnight temperatures will range from 14 to 19°C, while daytime highs will vary between 24 and 29°C. However, in the western, Vinnytsia, and most northern regions, daytime temperatures will be cooler at 19–24°C. A yellow danger level has been declared for the following areas:

  • Sumy
  • Kharkiv
  • Poltava
  • Dnipropetrovsk
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Kherson

In Kyiv, July 9 will start with no significant precipitation overnight, but brief rain and thunderstorms are likely during the day. The capital will see westerly winds at 7–12 m/s, with local gusts up to 15–20 m/s. Overnight temperatures in Kyiv will range from 15 to 17°C, with daytime highs of 21–23°C.
