In the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, they note the active participation of the chief, Kyrylo Budanov, in combat operations. According to GUR representative Andriy Yusov, Budanov is not only a commander but also a true leader who supports his subordinates in difficult situations.
“Kyrylo Budanov is a combat general. He is not someone who merely gives orders but one who demonstrates by example when needed,” Yusov emphasized. “He personally participates in various stages of combat operations and shows personal oversight in those moments when it is necessary.”
This dedication and exemplary leadership of Budanov are highly appreciated in the GUR, as it helps the leadership better understand the needs of the fighters. As Yusov pointed out, it is important for Budanov to be on the front lines to learn what is really happening, not just during the analysis of reports in the office.
It has been noted that the head of the Ministry of Defense intelligence actively participates in combat operations, showing personal control and support to subordinates when needed. His dedication and presence on the front line help to better perceive the needs of the fighters and effectively manage challenging situations.
