"He died, like all young guys die, unfortunately, in battle, you understand? What is happening today, you know, in the 'special military operation' zone, so young people are dying - both from one side and the other," the producer explained.
Prigozhin also revealed that the decision on his son-in-law's death was made by the court after the relevant investigation procedures.
"When a person goes missing - only through an investigation, only through evidence does the court determine a person as dead or that he is somewhere in captivity or elsewhere. Only after certain actions does the court make a final decision that a person is dead or missing, that is, a certain amount of time must pass," Prigozhin added.
