Housing Recovery Program in the Kyiv Region
The housing compensation program, known as eRestoration, remains active in the Kyiv region, where residents are applying for financial support to repair homes damaged by attacks. On May 24–25, a total of 986 informational notices were filed in the city of Kyiv, while the surrounding region recorded 147 submissions.
Across the capital, nearly 19,000 households have already received compensation for home repairs. Additionally, about 8,500 families have opted for housing certificates, which allow them to purchase new homes in place of those that were destroyed.
Oleksiy Kuleba, a government official, emphasized: 'Our priority is to ensure people receive compensation as quickly as possible. Local authorities are setting up inspection teams to conduct swift assessments. The scale of work is enormous due to the large-scale attack. It is critical that local leadership strengthens these inspection teams so that affected individuals get help without delay.'

Compensation claims can be submitted through the Diia online platform, simplifying the process for affected citizens. The eRestoration program is actively working to restore housing for those impacted by the conflict.
