Cultural Events in Kyiv: June 22–28

From June 22 to 28, Kyiv’s cultural scene offers a packed lineup of exhibitions, theater performances, concerts, and stand-up shows. The 'Suburb' exhibition is hosted at the Sadiba na Kudryavtsi, a branch of the Museum of History of the City of Kyiv, located on Kudryavska Street. Kudryavets is a historic district of Kyiv, named after the Kudryavets (Kyianka) River. Archaeologists have uncovered remains of four stone churches from the 11th–13th centuries in this area, adding to its appeal for visitors.

Another major event is 'Peace to Heaven and Earth: A Porcelain Symphony by the Tregubov Family,' on display until July 12 at the National Museum of Ukrainian Decorative Arts (2 Ivan Mazepa Street, Building 2). The exhibition features 377 works from the museum’s collection and the family archive. Mykola Tregubov (1922–2007), a Honored Artist of Ukraine and recipient of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, was a sculptor at the Korosten Porcelain Factory. The 'Peace to Heaven and Earth' service set was created in 1985.

Starting June 22, the exhibition 'Kherson. Shovkunenko. Rescued' runs until July 26 at the National Museum Kyiv Art Gallery (9 Tereshchenkivska Street). It showcases nine paintings from the collection of the Olexiy Shovkunenko Kherson Regional Art Museum that were not stolen by Russian forces during the occupation of Kherson in 2022.
