Traffic Restrictions on Kyiv's Teligy Bridge: April Roadworks Detailed

Обмеження руху на мосту Теличка в Києві: деталі дорожніх робіт у квітні.

Traffic Restrictions in Place

From April 1st to April 30th, partial traffic restrictions will be in effect on the overpass connecting Novokostiantynivska Street, Oleny Teligy Street, and Stepan Bandera Avenue. The Kyivavtodor municipal corporation has announced that one lane in each direction will be closed to allow for warranty repairs on the structure's elements. These works are part of ongoing efforts to maintain the city's infrastructure.

The planned scope of work includes:

  • Restoring the structural integrity of the overpass components;
  • Repairing defects in the road surface and expansion joints;
  • Installing temporary road signs and traffic control devices.

The work schedule is subject to change in case of adverse weather conditions.

Reconstruction on Brovarskiy Avenue

Separately, traffic will also be partially restricted on Brovarskiy Avenue until May 15th. This is due to the reconstruction of the overpass at its intersection with Budivelnykiv Street. The repair zone on Brovarskiy Avenue stretches from the McDonald's restaurant (Brovarskiy Avenue, 27) to Heorhiia Narbuta Avenue.

These restrictions are part of a broader city program to improve road infrastructure. Repairing overpasses and fixing road surface defects aims to enhance safety and comfort for drivers and pedestrians. Residents and commuters are advised to account for these disruptions when planning their routes, as they are likely to cause significant traffic delays in the capital.

As the city undertakes essential repairs on the Teligy Bridge, similar traffic restrictions will also impact key routes, such as the ongoing works on Brovarskiy Avenue. These coordinated efforts are crucial for enhancing the overall safety and functionality of Kyiv's infrastructure.
