The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) has officially refuted circulating claims that its head, Tymur Tkachenko, submitted a resignation letter. In a statement, the administration urged the public not to spread unverified information and to rely solely on official sources, calling the online reports baseless.
Tkachenko assumed the role of KCMA chief on December 31, 2024, succeeding Serhiy Popko. The recent rumors of his resignation emerged amid ongoing tensions between the military administration and city authorities. Public disagreements have flared over:
