From January 1, 2026, the updated Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations will come into effect, which provides for the use of modern combined vaccines. This will allow to protect children from several diseases at the same time. The use of combined vaccines has many advantages: fewer injections, fewer visits to medical facilities, comprehensive protection. This approach is common in most EU countries.
For example, in the new calendar, a combined vaccine will be used for vaccination against viral hepatitis B. This will allow replacing several individual vaccinations with one injection, which indicates convenience for children and parents. It will also reduce the number of visits to medical facilities and provide children with protection from several infections at the same time during one visit.
