The city of Kup'yansk in the Kharkiv region is now closed to everyone except military units. Andriy Besedin, the head of the Kup'yansk city military administration, explained that this decision was made due to the critical security situation.

'Unfortunately, today Kup'yansk is a closed territory, the city is completely closed to any services. The only ones who can enter are our military, so evacuation, unfortunately, is greatly complicated,' Besedin said.

Ordinary residents can only walk beyond the city limits, where they are met by volunteers, emergency responders, and police to guide them to safe places. There is also the option to contact the military, who will definitely provide assistance with evacuation.

Danger for residents
