The Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko held a meeting with the heads of regional military administrations, where they discussed the state budget project for the next year. Currently, it is planned to allocate 258 billion UAH for healthcare, which is 38 billion more than last year.

In addition, it is planned to allocate 191.6 billion UAH for financing the Medical Guarantees Program, which is 16 billion more than this year. This will allow for expanding access to medical assistance, increasing salaries for medical staff, and providing necessary medications.
Investments in healthcare
In 2026, it is planned to implement over 186 investment projects with a total amount of more than 39 billion UAH. These funds will be directed to support various sectors, such as maternity and childhood, oncological care, medical education, and rehabilitation.
